Cold-drawn bars are precision bars processed through the cold drawing process, featuring high dimensional accuracy, excellent surface finish, and outstanding mechanical properties. They are widely used in precision mechanical processing, automation equipment, instruments and meters, and aerospace industries. The nickel alloy cold-drawn bars we supply are made from high-quality hot-rolled or forged nickel-based alloy bars, and are processed through multiple rounds of cold drawing, intermediate annealing, straightening, polishing/peeling and other precise processes. They have strict dimensional tolerances, excellent surface quality, uniform internal structure and outstanding mechanical properties, specifically designed for precision processing scenarios with extremely high requirements for material precision and surface quality.

Cold Drawing Process Advantages:

  1. Cold Drawing: Drawing through dies, reducing cross-sectional dimensions, improving dimensional accuracy and surface finish
  2. Intermediate Annealing: Eliminating work hardening, restoring plasticity for further processing
  3. Straightening: Ensuring bar straightness, meeting automation processing requirements
  4. Polishing/Peeling: Further improving surface quality, removing surface defects

Multiple Delivery Conditions Available

Various delivery conditions available according to subsequent processing requirements:

  1. Cold Drawn: Highest dimensional accuracy and surface quality, suitable for direct machining

  1. Annealed: Low hardness, good plasticity, suitable for applications requiring extensive cutting or cold forming
  2. Stress Relieved: Eliminating cold drawing internal stress, dimensional stability, suitable for precision parts

Strict Non-Destructive Testing

Every nickel alloy cold drawn bar undergoes rigorous NDT inspection:

  1. Ultrasonic Testing (UT) : Detecting internal defects, ensuring material density
  2. Eddy Current Testing (ET) : Detecting surface and near-surface defects
  3. Penetrant Testing (PT) : Surface inspection for critical service bars
