Not every fitting is a catalogue item. Tailan Metal supplies nickel alloy forging stock – round, flat and octagonal – so fabricators can machine their own elbows, reducers and special closures on their own equipment. We also machine fittings from customer drawings to ASME SB-564 and B16.9. For one-off or non-standard geometry this is often faster and cheaper than a forged factory item.

Product forms
Forging stock as round bar, flat bar, octagonal and square sections; machined fittings including heavy-wall elbows, concentric and eccentric reducers, tees, crosses, octagonal heads and weld bosses; full drawing-to-part service with material certification tied to the heat number.
Product specifications
Material to ASME SB-564. Dimensions to ASME B16.9 for butt weld and ASME B16.11 for socket weld. Proprietary drawings accepted where ASME does not cover the geometry. Forged bar and rod to SB-446 are available for Inconel 625 (UNS N06625), confirmed per SB-446 Table 2 as Cr 20.0-23.0, Mo 8.0-10.0, Nb+Ta 3.15-4.15, Ni 58.0 min.
Applications
Pressure vessel nozzles, heat exchanger headers, large-bore transition pieces, custom manifolds, and repair sleeves for dissimilar-material transitions where a stock fitting does not exist.
Certification and inspection
EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 mill certification, PMI, dimensional report, ultrasonic and liquid penetrant testing when ordered, and heat-number traceability marked per SB-564 para. 15.

Lead time and pricing depend heavily on geometry and section size, so a drawing or a clear description gives the most accurate quotation.
