Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825) is a nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum-copper alloy built for sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid and sour gas service where Inconel 625 alone is not economical. Tailan Metal supplies it as butt weld fittings to ASME SB-564 for material and ASME B16.9 for dimensions, in elbow, tee, reducer, cap, stub end and lap-joint configurations.

Applications

Sulphuric and phosphoric acid plant, oil and gas gathering systems operating with hydrogen sulphide, sour water stripping units, pulp and paper digesters, and chemical process lines where chloride stress corrosion cracking rules out 316L.

Certification and inspection

EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 mill certificate, hydrostatic shell test, PMI (positive material identification) on request, intergranular corrosion test to ASTM G28 when specified, and NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 compliance on request. Dimensional inspection to ASME B16.9 with MTR traceability by heat number.

Ordering information

Send size, schedule or wall thickness, grade (825 or 825 transition to 625), quantity, and applicable standard. We will confirm dimensional availability, mill certificate type and lead time with a quotation. Non-standard angles, thick-wall forged fittings and special corrosion-test packages can be quoted on request.
